Welcome to Flower Dew Shawl CAL! Join us on Ana D crochet patterns Group to celebrate Spring making this beautiful shawl together with our talented crochet community!
Lightweight shawls are always good idea no matter the season. Spring inspired me to design a shawl that shows the beauty of crochet and look contemporary, something elegant and feminine that women of every age will enjoy. And of course it’s always more fun to crochet in a good company. That’s the story behind Flower Dew Shawl CAL!
Flower dew shawl is with slightly asymmetrical triangular shape. It’s fun play of lace section and simple double crochet section which will show beautifully when worn. The asymmetrical shape makes it look elegant and modern.
It can be worn in a multitude of ways. Wrap it around your neck as scarf, wear it like a cowl or bandanna, or just throw it over one shoulder to give a pop of colour. To make the Flower dew shawl you’ll need approximately 470 yards (430 m) of Fingering yarn with nice drape and crochet hook size 3.5 mm (E). Pattern is for intermediate level of crochet skills.
Flower Dew Shawl CAL start from April 6th and will end on April 30th. To make it more fun after each phase we’ll giveaway patterns, yarn or something crochet related!

I’m very happy to introduce you my new crochet pattern Silver drop top
and to invite you to join Ana D First Crochet-A-Long (CAL)
Silver drop top
is something that I designed to be quick&easy to make with beautiful and efortless summer look. Actually you can make 4 different sweaters with this single pattern!Front&back with same look Version 1
Front&back with same look Version 2
Front panel as Version 1 and back panel as Version 2.
Of course all versions could be done with longer sleeves.
Since this is a summer design I needed an yarn that gives comfort to the body in the warm summer days. It should be from natural fibers in order to be absorbent, hypoalergenic, with soft and smooth feel against skein. So the choice of The Cotton by We Are Knitters came very naturally. This yarn embody all this qualities because it’s 100% pima cotton. It’s with cashmere softness and silky drape! It comes in lovely classic and trendy shades. I won’t say anything else about this yarn because one can’t describe with words the real experience. You need to experience this yarn – to touch it, to cuddle it, simply to feel it! So don’t hesitate and treat yourself with few The Cotton skeins!

HAPPY SUMMER CROCHETING!
Recently I was so hooked by T-shirt yarn so I’ve designed few patterns. I like the contemporary look of everything made from T-shirt yarn and how quick you can see the final result from your work. T-shirt yarn is pretty sturdy and is perfect for home decor. You can make the yarn by yourself or just grab some from local yarn shop as I did. I’ll show you a very easy, beautiful and practical project with pretty knit look.
