Estepona Sweater – A Modern Filet Crochet Top for Summer

If you’re looking for a lightweight crochet sweater pattern that’s both elegant and easy to wear, I’m excited to introduce my newest design—the Estepona Sweater.

Whether you wear it over a camisole, a swimsuit, or pair it with your favourite jeans, this sweater is designed to become a wardrobe staple.
Inspired by warm Mediterranean days and the relaxed charm of the pretty Estepona town at Costa del Sol, the Estepona Sweater combines classic filet crochet with a contemporary silhouette. The result is a breathable, versatile top you’ll reach for all season long.

Why You’ll Love the Estepona Sweater
The standout feature of the Estepona Sweater is the beautiful floral filet crochet panel across the front, framed by simple mesh stitches that create a light and airy fabric. The relaxed fit and classic short sleeves make it comfortable to wear while allowing the floral motif to take centre stage. This pattern is ideal if you enjoy crochet garments that combine timeless techniques with a modern, wearable style. The neutral Ecru sample lets the stitch pattern shine, but the design looks beautiful in any solid colour.
Crochet continues to be one of the biggest fashion trends this summer, and the Estepona Sweater captures that effortless look with its modern silhouette and timeless floral filet crochet panel, making it a piece you’ll enjoy wearing season after season.
