Granny Stripes Kimono Cardigan CAL

Granny stripes kimono cardigan was inspired by the month of August! Traditionally we spend the first two weeks of August on a camping by the sea with family and friends. Sun, sea, fresh fruits, seafood, barefoot kids(and adults), nights sky full of stars and all this shared with best friends…

The feeling of freedom and love is everywhere!What makes the Granny Stripes Kimono Cardigan so great for my vacation is that I can throw it on over most anything – a pair of shorts or my favourite jeans or leggings, over a dress or simply as beach cover up. I also designed it with the idea to wear on early Fall layered with long sleeves shirt.

The yarn I used is The Cotton by We Are Knitters. As you remember I’ve used this incredibly soft yarn for some of my favourite designs as Lace up Granny stripes sweater, Granny stripes sweater, Pearl shell top, Silver drop sweater. You can check all the colours here

Granny Stripes Kimono Cardigan is coming in size S/M and L/XL but could be easy customised. There are so many possibilities to add your personal signature to this project! Use your imagination and play with different colours, make a long sleeve kimono cardigan or a duster. I can’t wait to see your finished projects!
