My latest Celtic passion

I always loved to experiment with texture and this season is perfect for those type of experiments! The cables in every variation are always a good idea!  If you never tried cables it might look a bit intimidating but in general the classical cable is simply a combination of front post stitches & back post stitches.

I liked to make something modern with simple elegance adding a bit of character to this design!

And the classical Celtic style cable motif was just perfect. Playing around with front&back post stitches together with basic double crochet gave me the result I was looking for: Celtic cable cardigan! Woven cables contrasting on simple base made a cozy, flattering open-front sweater that provide the warmth you need to keep all of you comfortable! Pattern comes in sizes S/M and L/XL and it’s is written in US crochet terms and includes photos to show the process step-by-step. Size is easy adjustable because of the easy construction.

As I told you above cables are my passion. I have a dozen of patterns from different weight yarn and for sure I’ll make more!
